In all my time spent in this world, i don’t think there’s time that is wrong to eat fried chicken. The fry has a crispy, flavorful crust over moist, tender skin. When you love to eat, certainly you would love to cook. Unfortunately, you can’t make a food that tastes right all the time. This simple recipe of Buttermilk Fried Chicken will make fried chcicken so much tastier without too much extra effort.

 

Here are the ingredients needed for the magic.

  • 1 whole chicken cut into pieces
  • 2 cups milk
  • onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • red pepper
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Vegetable oil

The First step is preparing the Chicken. Toss the chicken, buttermilk, egg, onion powder, red pepper and salt in a zip-top plastic bag. Marinate and refrigerate for 4 hours.

 

Then it’s time for cooking! Prepare the pan, heat the oil in a deep skillet pan over medium-high heat. Make the flour mixture that’s mouth watering. Mix flour, paprika, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Also put all the remaining seasons with love.

 

Now for the exciting part, frying the chicken. Remove chicken from the buttermilk mixture. Shake off the excess and roll the chicken in the flour -ps. most people prefer not to remove the excess-. Put the chicken in hot oil, turn it over and fry till golden brown. Put the fried chicken in the rack to drain and serve while still warm or at room temperature.

 

Now it’s eating time! Add garnish and sauce. Serve with gravy and asparagus at room temperature. Allot one hour for taking out of the pan and serving.
