The First step is preparing the Chicken. Toss the chicken, buttermilk, egg, onion powder, red pepper and salt in a zip-top plastic bag. Marinate and refrigerate for 4 hours.
Then it’s time for cooking! Prepare the pan, heat the oil in a deep skillet pan over medium-high heat. Make the flour mixture that’s mouth watering. Mix flour, paprika, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Also put all the remaining seasons with love.
Now for the exciting part, frying the chicken. Remove chicken from the buttermilk mixture. Shake off the excess and roll the chicken in the flour -ps. most people prefer not to remove the excess-. Put the chicken in hot oil, turn it over and fry till golden brown. Put the fried chicken in the rack to drain and serve while still warm or at room temperature.
Now it’s eating time! Add garnish and sauce. Serve with gravy and asparagus at room temperature. Allot one hour for taking out of the pan and serving.
